Ryan Miller

In life, we undergo a range of experiences that influence the way we see the world and make meaning of the past. Rooted at the core of every experience is human relationship; relationships reflect pieces of ourselves and shape the complex beings we become. Fragments of our relationships become part of us, influencing and guiding our choices.

Self does not exist without an other: a sense of self is born and, at times, held hostage by the many lives we encounter.

As we wander through life we are constantly making choices, often unconsciously and outside the realm of thought. Our work in therapy is to find the points where the unconscious peeks through and, from there, choose: who will you be?
